Whitt's Place, a business of Fugate Farms ("we," "us"), runs preorder.whittsplace.com to take preorders for meat and dairy from our family farm. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what control you have.

What we collect

When you place a preorder, we collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address (if you give one)
• The cuts, options, and notes you want for your order
• Your pickup date
• Your preferred way to receive updates (email, text, or both)

We don't collect payment information through this site. You pay at pickup.

How we use it

• To fulfill your preorder and have your cuts ready on pickup day.
• To send you order confirmations, "your order is ready" notifications, and pickup reminders.
• To contact you if items aren't available or we have a question about your order.

How we share it

We share information only with:

• Twilio, our text messaging provider, when sending you a text on our behalf.
• Google Workspace, our email host, when sending you an email on our behalf.
• Our staff at Whitt's Place / Fugate Farms.

We will not share, sell, or rent your phone number, opt-in consent information, or any other personal information you provide to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your information is used solely to operate your preorder with Whitt's Place. We don't share any information for advertising.

Text messages

If you select "Text" or "Both" on the preorder form, you'll receive text notifications about your order from Whitt's Place, a business of Fugate Farms. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. We will not share your mobile information or opt-in consent with third parties for marketing.

Data retention

We keep order records to manage the business and as required by law. Reach out if you'd like yours removed.
